This is so weirdly creative and I adore it. We should all listen to Gladys.

Ooof…I felt that in my gut. That childhood fear thy no one is coming to rescue us and make things better resonates. I think thats the sentiment that is ever present with the grief of feeling abandoned by the grown ups of this world and the systems they built.

I am still learning how to use Substack. I have never before felt inspired to write a note with some post I've re-stacked--until this. This is phenomenal. Thank you, D.L., for the courage you show staying soft in the face of so much cruelty in the world, listening to parts as you do so.

To me, you matter. To me, you are so very worth showing up for, and not because of anything you've ever acheived, but just because of who you are. I'm so glad you are part of this neurogalactic "we" of the multiple personality *order* that is the cosmos.

I'm pretty convinced at this point of the low probability of any savior. Likely no one is coming to save us. But here *we* all are, already! Able, or so I keep hoping and trying to live it, live this trying to try, this trying to show up for one another.

❤️ IFS has been the most effective therapy for me, so far. I love the idea of naming and describing your parts with personalities, and this is brilliant. I once wrote a very short play for mine. I may dust it off one day.
