I told you I love to wallow in reflection, and I am continuing that this week.
The other day I was on Threads—which, I don’t really like at all—just poking around and seeing if any of the old positive feelings I used to have on Twitter would be there. I didn’t really find what I was looking for, and instead was triggered quite a bit in the space of a few minutes. I felt incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of hot takes, and whether or not I agreed with them, and within minutes I was frantically trying to form some of my own to blast out into the void.
But, in the midst of all of that, there are folks who continue to be silly and funny and sad and honest, and I saw one question that I couldn’t resist answering: What is something you are proud of that you did in 2023?
I knew immediately what I was proud of, so I said this:
